The owner helps Capt. Terry replacing the navigation lights. Then they depart from Alert bay to anchor somewhere around Hansen Island about 12 to 14 miles away.
Departing Alert Bay Cormorant island is keep on the boats starboard side along with the Pearse islands, then across Weynton Passage into Blackfish Sound, where Hanson island lies between it an Johnstone Strait. They look into Double Bay where a logging operation and fish camp were. Did not like it so went around thee point and anchored behind a small Island named Sprout Island, where they anchored, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

The day is spent with Capt.Terry finding replacement lights, for the
navigation lights that all burned out for a unknown reason,
filling water tanks, washing down the complete boat, shining the stainless,
vaccuming inside,and gereral clean up. After clean up when the owner was
into her quiet time he went for a walk around town to find a Native first
Nation museum, totem poles, one claimed to be the tallest totem pole in the
world.

The "Ringleaders" next destination is the northern entrance of Johnston straits. Telegraph Harbor is 25 kn mi from Pt Harvey anchorage and Alert Bay about 30 kn mi.
After the fog lift in the harbor and the straight, "Ringleader pulls up anchor and head Northwest out the Straights, to find Telegraph Cove full, but moorage available at Alert bay 5 miles further north. They proceed there and secure "Ringleader" with power and water.
