Back from two month outing

The last week in July Capt. Terry was contacted by the owner of a brand new 52' Nordic Tug "The Ringleader", she was referred to him by a friend of a friend to help her on a shakedown cruise up the inside of Vancouver Island, serving as captain, guide, instructor, mate,deck hand and guest as she learn to master her new boat.
While doing the over 2 month shakedown cruise Capt. Terry shot thousands of photographs with his digital camera.
Here is the start of "The ringleader"s shake down cruise.
Leaving Cap Sante's Marina in Anacortes they proceed to Friday Harbor and moor across the dock from the Town of Friday Harbor's fire boat, where Capt Terry loads his personal captain and cruising gear.

..student & instructor for the Camano Island fire and Rescue

For the second year. Asst. Chief Darien Reid, from Camano Island fire and Rescue conducted a 16hr Surface Water Rescue Techinician Class for San Island EMT,s and Friday Harbor Town Firefighters. Part of the class was that the students spend 10 min in the cold water. This gave them a first hand experiance on how the water in Puget Sound affects the human body.
Captain Sanders was both a student and instructor for this class

Friday Harbor's Capt Terry sets customer up for summer

Capt. Terry re-locates clients sport fishing/cruising boat from Roche Harbor, where it was dry stored by Roche Harbor Marine, for the winter, to the Port of Friday Harbor "W" dock, for the summer, where the owner can conviently, hop on and go fishing, or cruise at his leasure.

With 6 inches of snow on the deck Captain Terry Sanders delivers a 35 foot motor sailor to his customer in Bellingham Washington.

You might say it was a cold trip.
